What is Bullion Trading LLC?
Bullion Trading LLC is a dealer of some of the finest precious metals products available. According to their website, customers choose to visit for three reasons.
First, Bullion Trading LLC charges a very low premium, and the price you see is what you pay. Any premium charged is listed next to the product, so you are aware of what is going on.
The company also never charges hidden commissions, fees, or added expenses. This company's massive inventory selection is the second major draw to its appeal. Customers can purchase gold, silver, platinum, and palladium.
If they want casting grain, there are gold, platinum, and silver options. Even if they do not have what you want in stock, they can notify you when it is back.
Third, the company has an impressive re-buy program, and customers love it. If you buy something from them, they will buy it back from you in the future. As the investor, you can rely on them for immediate liquidity.
Investing With Bullion Trading LLC
To invest with Bullion, shoppers must purchase physical coins or bars. These purchases can be made in gold, silver, platinum, or palladium.
Below we describe their products and pricing at the time of this writing and prices are subject to change. Here are a few of the products this company has on its gold bars page.
Clients can obtain this 5-gram gold bar at $444.56 if they use bitcoin for the transaction. This particular gold bar celebrates Diwali, the festival of lights. It belongs to a limited mintage of only 5,000 bars, and it contains 0.9999 purity gold.
If you want to acquire a larger gold bar for your investment, it will cost $2,132 if you use Paypal. Sending a check or a wire will net you the bar for merely $2,031.05. This bar has been embossed with the visage of lady Fortuna.
PAMP Suisse was a prominent swiss refinery in Ticino in 1977. They stamped this bar with their anti-counterfeit markings, preserving authenticity. This particular bar contains one troy ounce of 0.9999 purity gold.
For a different option, this bar from the refinery Argor Heraeus only costs $2,113 by PayPal. Shoppers who elect to pay for their purchases by check can receive a discount of $100 per ounce.
Argos Heraeus bars are the ideal combination of purity and versatility. These bars are 2.1 mm thick and they are 40.4 mm tall. If you want to keep them in an IRA, they are approved for those purposes.
Bullion Trading company carries various gold coins, including ones from foreign countries. The American Gold Eagle is available in denominations as small as one-tenth of an ounce.
However, the largest denomination available is a full ounce, and these have 0.9999 purity gold. If a buyer prefers the appearance of the buffalo, they can get one of those coins in all the same denominations.
Silver Products
Bullion Trading LLC maintains an adequate stock of silver bullion and coins. These products are available in a wide range of weights to make purchases easier. A shopper will find a few characteristic items on their website.
Buyers can take a look at the spot price for their silver bars. This is made by the PAMP Suisse refinery, and they guarantee its purity. Since this bar went through a patented production process, it is easy to identify.
The refinery had to melt the bar down, shape it into rectangles, and then stamp it with its assay. You can get a discount on this bar if you pay it using Bitcoin, but the biggest discount is for a check.
Despite having similar levels of purity, this bar is slightly less expensive. Buyers can grab it for $929 if they pay by wire or check.
It was minted by the metal or group, which is originally from Switzerland. The bar's frontside displays its markings and insignia, showing the contents and purity.
Some investors want to buy their bars much closer to the spot price. If you want to minimize the premium you pay for a new bar, then you can get some of these. These bars carry a much lower price tag per ounce, and they contain 0.998 fine silver.
An investor can secure a shipment of ten ounces for less than half the price of an ounce of gold.
A 1-ounce American silver eagle coin only costs $44.05 if you pay for it with a check. On the other hand, you can get one for $46.25 if you use PayPal. The coin contains 99.93% silver with a 0.07% copper addition to increase its durability.
On the coin's obverse, Lady Liberty is standing and striking a pose. The word liberty passes above her, and he is a historical inscription on the bottom.
These coins belong to a brand new coin series honoring the nation's monuments and parks. Overall, there are 56 coins belonging to the series, and it was launched in 2010.
For each coin that you purchase, you will be charged $244.73 to $256.97. There are coins for all 50 states if you want to collect them.
Silver investors have taken up investing in silver coins like these. Since these coins are so portable, they are a popular choice among those in the know.
With a face value of $100, this bag's total price is $2,811. Each bag contains approximately 71.50 ounces of actual silver.
Platinum and Palladium Bars and Coins
Some interested investors want to know about Bullion Trading LLC's platinum and palladium. Here are a few of the options they provide.
The American Eagle is the only US coin still made of platinum. The US Mint began producing them in 1997 but took a hiatus from 2008-2013. On this coin, a statue of liberty stares back at the viewer, and the word liberty hangs above her head.
If you wanted to purchase one of these, it would cost you $1,328 by wire or $1,394 by PayPal.
For a slightly lower price tag than the Silver Eagle, this coin looks pretty nifty. It features a castle on the obverse with a key dangling beneath it.
It contains 0.9995% pure platinum and costs $1,218 by check or $1,279 by card. You can see the coat of arms of her majesty's government of Gibraltar on the coins.
This year is the fourth year that this extremely popular style of coin has been made. Royal Mint manufactures this coin, following their assumption of all minting activities.
In 1987, they took over all the mints in Britannia, and now they produce these. The coins contain 0.9995 pure platinum.
This selection is special because the mint is not guaranteed. Depending on which mint produces the bar, the bar's obverse will differ. This product comes with protective plastic flips.
Nevertheless, these bars are still eligible for use in an IRA if that is what you want to do with them.
This bar comes from the PAMP foundry, and they do a great job creating their bars. On the obverse, you can see lady Fortuna with a blindfold on her head. The bar's contents are 0.9995 pure platinum, costing $1,257.55 if you buy with a credit card.
Casting Grain
Casting grains are bits and chunks of metals that are leftover after forging. These little bits may not seem like much at the time, but they add up quickly. They represent a unique source of investment potential if you are willing to go off the beaten path.
Gold granules come in irregular shapes but are of incredibly high purity. This collection is 24K and 0.9999% pure, so it is at its peak. You can use these to melt into other gold works, creating a custom blend.
On the other hand, they can be formed together to create larger items. To buy an ounce of this by check costs $1,933.28.
Budget-minded investors enjoy picking up this type of silver. Jewelers can use this if they want to create a smooth cast. Since it is composed of sterling silver, do not expose it to moisture or sunlight.
It can begin to tarnish and degrade if you are not careful about exposure.
Silver casting granules typically come in about a 1/4-inch size. Casters make them by dripping hot, molten silver into cold water. This action causes a condensation reaction, and the metal solidifies.
To melt this again, you would need to heat the silver to 1,761°F. If you wanted to buy some of this, it would cost you $27.35 by check.
These small granules of platinum are worth quite a bit, and it would cost you $1,394 to buy some. They are popular among jewelers. The Ruthenium acts as a grain refiner, giving the alloy structure.
As a result, this alloyed platinum scored a 120 HV on the Vickers hardness test.
Bullion Trading LLC Gifts
Bullion Trading LLC has a gift section to get things for friends and loved ones. They offer emblems, religious gold bars, and a guitar pick.
This $688 gold bar features the visage of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth, love, and prosperity. The goddesses' four hands stand for the four aims of human life.
This silver bar only costs $22.17 if you buy it by check or wire. However, it still portrays that lovely image of the Hindu goddess. If you decided to get ten of them, you could get a discount down to $22.06.
A 5-gram guitar pick might sound like a bit much, but since it is made out of silver, you should let it pass. This novelty item comprises 0.925 fine silver, making it a precious piece of equipment.
Is Bullion Trading LLC Legit?
Even though it may not seem like a ton of information out there, there is more than enough to get a feel for them. Bullion Trading LLC is a legit company, and they have been around for almost 40 years.
They are based out of New York, and their office is a mile from Times Square. They have a 4.8 out of 5 stars on Google at the time of this review.
Bullion Trading LLC is a decent company, but we do not recommend them.
There are better options for investors looking to make direct purchases of precious metals, and much better options for investors looking to protect their savings with a gold IRA.
